Fast charging of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries makes it susceptible to lithium plating. In this study, we report the correlation between capacity loss and cell impedance changes in battery due electrodeposition. Li-ion pouch cells with nickel-manganese-cobalt cathode graphite anode were charged at rates varying from 0.5C 6C.
